Dr. Johnrob is the Deputy Research Director of the Research Group of Universitas. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in Physics at the National Institute of Physics, College of Science, University of the Philippines (Diliman, QC). He does research mainly along the Computational Physics and modeling specifically on the dynamics of interacting complex systems that include granular (grains), biological and social systems. He is interested in helping aspiring and talented students develop their character by doing meaningful Physics research in the Philippines, and obtaining their undergraduate (BS) and graduate (MS, PhD) degrees in Physics/Applied Physics. He is currently assigned as the Program Director of the Computational Science Research Center (CSRC) at the National Science Complex [and Technology Park] under the College of Science.
