“I am fortunate to be one of the first ones who benefited and eventually collaborated in the activities organized by Universitas in its beginnings. Aside from being a training ground in honing my organizational and leadership skills, my “Universitas years” influenced me to pursue a professional career that is closely tied up with youth education and development, an advocacy which is very dear to me.” 

Mr. Ephraim Alarcio is currently the Executive Director of University Center Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the education and development of the Filipino youth. He got to know Universitas for the first time as a freshman student at the University of the Philippines-Diliman. He received a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education (major in Social Studies) from the same university. He is also an avid hiker, camper, biker, and wall climber.
