College: Maastricht University, Vienna University of Economics and Business
Degree: International Business (starting from August)
Daniele Maria Ripani is from Italy. He is about to finish his bachelor’s in international business at the School of Business and Economics in Maastricht, Netherlands. There, he has worked on several extracurricular activities both businesses related and not. For instance, he is volunteering at an English club where he teaches English to teenagers. This allows him to learn a lot from the perspective of a young student, but it also allows him to leave a mark in his host country.
He has recently been appointed as the Project Management Officer (PMO) at Universitas. His main task is to make sure that all the projects created by Universitas run smoothly and get completed on time. He has been involved with Universitas activities for a couple of years already. For instance, he completed the Back to the Basics (B2B) course and the Principled Leadership course which gave him a strong understanding of the virtues and how they can be used to influence the environment he works in. Moreover, he understood more about the Filipino culture and its dynamics. He believes that it is so rewarding to get on the other side of the table and understand how the projects are built. He is very happy to join in!
